2-day extension to be able to get the certificate?

Hi @MarieCollin, @AurelieLagarrigue @brospars and others of the Pedagogical Team @Learninglab

This is Anurima from Asia.
I am a data analyst, and thriving to understand sklearn in details. This course is really helpful and very informative, i am really thankful for the team of developers who have created this course, and how it is maintained.

However, I started this course from June 26, and in between for like 7 days I fell sick and could not make any progress. I am trying my best to make up for my lost days and learn as fast as possible because the quizzes and related mostly to the notebooks, but I am yet to complete 2 modules.

I would request the pedagogical team to please extend the time for completion of the quizzes by 2 more days, i.e. till 15th July. I believe I would be able to complete all the quizzes by then.

After coming this long, it would slightly demotivating for me if I cannot secure the certificate for this course. I hope the team will understand.

Hi, I moved your post to a separate topic since it was not really related to the topic you posted it into.

We will keep the deadline on the 13th July 10pm UTC as mentioned in Infos du cours 41026 | FUN-MOOC.

I completely understand this may be a bit demotivating given your particular situation, but there will be a second session soonish. For now we are planning its beginning some time during the Fall 2021. We’ll communicate about it once the details are a bit clearer.

Just wanted to know, if I complete all the quizzes, by the time mentioned 13th July, 10 pm UTC, I will be able to obtain the certificate right? Or is there any other criterion?

Also, if I retake the course in fall 2021, I will have to start the quizzes all over again… am I right?

Yes I believe so.

Yes. The quiz structure will change a bit because we want to take into account the feedback of the first session to improve.

Hey one more question so if I have a 50%+ aggregate but I haven’t attended all of the quizzes will I still be eligible to get the certificate?

What matters is whether you are above the 50% threshold, see Certificate generation for example.
