Not being able to use all shortcuts

I have realised that the shortcut Ctrl-Shift-Minus (to split a cell in two) is not working for me.
According to this link from the forum StackOverflow (python - Jupyter Shortcut not working - Stack Overflow) it might be due to my browser intercepting the keypress for this shortcut. However, my case is not the same as in the forum, since I am using Firefox (not Chrome) and I do not have the plugin they mention. It is probably some other plugin? Do you know what could it be or how I could check what is the problem?

A bit of a silly question: is your cursor placed somewhere in the cell that you wish to split? If it’s not, then place it at the point where you want to split it.

I find that it works for me, in Firefox + a bunch of extensions.

Yes, I place the cursor where I want the split to happen but the shortcut does not work.
