Question in General

From the introduction to this course, it was started that a question that has just one answer has 1 try while question that requires multiply answers has just 2 try. I found this false in this lesson. Question 1 and 7 has just 1 answer but the number of chances is 2. This quiz is a bit difficult probably because of how the options to the questions is, My question How do we identify questions (especially those one’s that require multiply answer) that has 2,3 or more answers?

@MarieCollin @lfarhi Do you know why for these single answers, we provide 2 choices? Was it because we wanted to provide an extra chance?

Personally, I don’t really care because one should try to answer the question rather than trying to infer what should be the right answer depending on the design of the quiz.

Hi @SandraOriji
Thanks for you question.

The rule is that:

  • single choice questions are represented by round boxes and have only one possible answer (it’s not possible to check several answers) with only one possible submission.
  • multiple choice questions are represented by square boxes with the words ‘Select all answers that apply’ which means that you can check at least one box.

On purpose, as some multiple choice questions are a bit tricky (a bit more difficult with at least 1 choice), 2 submissions are made possible.

Does with explanation help you understanding the quizzes rules ?

@MarieCollin Yeah i do. Seems i should be looking out for the shapes.

And like you said multiple questions are a bit tricky, this is also a big issue for me. Especially those questions that has 3 answer and i selected just two. Is there a way were if i select two and submit a prompt will remind that this question requires 3 answers.

Hello @SandraOriji,
Sorry, you must find ALL the right answers to get the points for the question: one mistake and it’s 0 for the question.
