The reason of the question 5

I’d like to understand the reason of question 5. Since the features “GarageArea” and “GarageCars” are positively correlated, the consequence of remove of “GarageArea” would give more weights to the feature
“GarageCars”. This isn’t the case, therefore the reason would be another one. Am I wrong ?
