In the second demo notebook:
there is no explanation of what “k-nearest neighbors” means, nor even a reference to some explanation. It’s just a name. The only thing we learn is that we probably shouldn’t use it in practice. I’d prefer a one-paragraph summary of the method, plus a link to the (excellent) scikit-learn documentation. That’s also a good means to encourage students to consult the documentation.
