FAQ on notebooks

  • we provide Jupyter notebooks for user convenience so that it is easy to run the notebooks. This is the recommended way to follow the MOOC
  • the notebooks are available in our github repo so you can run the notebooks locally if you want
  • if you run the notebooks locally it means you are willing to fix the problems (yourself or with the help of other MOOC participants in the forum).

J’utilise un whisper pour voir ce que ça donne en pratique : je me demande si il faudrait pas mieux utiliser un tag pour ça genre running-locally.

  • inconvĂ©nient: ça sera Ă  nous de mettre le tag
  • avantage: on garde la catĂ©gorie pour indiquer la sĂ©quence oĂą la personne rencontre le problème. Souvent ils donnent très peu de contexte sur l’endroit oĂą ils ont le problème …

En fait, on voulait utiliser cette catégorie pour que les participants puissent échanger entre eux leurs problèmes d’installation de Jupyter et des notebooks en local.
Dans le mail qu’on va leur envoyer, on a ajouté : " If you encounter problems in Jupyter installation, please visit the dedicated Mutual aid category in the forum."

OK pourquoi pas essayer comme ça dans une catégorie séparée, j’imagine que comme ça l’idée c’est qu’on peut se dédouaner complètement de s’impliquer !

On voit si les gens utilise bien la catégorie et on ajuste en fonction.

Pour les posts qu’on change de catégorie, on peut essayer de répondre j’ai bougé ton post dans la bonne catégorie n’hésite pas à ajouter un lien vers le notebook dont tu parles pour aider les autres à t’aider.
