Attempts for a Quiz

Hello,

I was wondering if the Quizzes can be attempted?, for example, in MooCs like Coursera, you can fail a quiz but retry 8 hours later.

Meanwhile, I understand the platform might be different, I find that it could be a bit fair to let your students attempt a quiz after they “fail” and try to go back and learn it well, but there is no chance for attempts.

Cheers,

Hello,
The rule for the quizzes is as follow. For each question, you have:

  • 2 possible submissions for multiple choice questions
  • 1 possible submission for single choice questions

But don’t worry, there are many quizzes in this Mooc and the certificate of achievements will be issued to the participants who obtained a final total score of at least 60% before the deadline.

If you need more detail about evaluations and certificate, you can read this page : https://lms.fun-mooc.fr/courses/course-v1:inria+41026+session01/jump_to_id/2460316755c840a0b44f8b2a27eebbb2

Thanks for the clarification.

Looking forward to complete the course

Hi, FYI
I found only 1 attempt was allowed for multiple choice questions in final Quiz M3

Thank you for clarification. Just noticed Module 3 wrap-up quiz is multiple choice questions but only have 1 possible submission. Just wonder if that’s intentional? Thanks!

Hi @miwojc
You are right ; the configuration of 2 possible submissions for this wrap-up quiz had been missed. It is now fixed.
Thank you for pointing this.
