Kernel not resetting

Hi MOOC Team.

I’ve made far too many changes in this and decided to just reset the kernel back to the original. However, it seems to be getting hung-up and even shutting it down and re-opening it just brings me right back to where I was.

Will gladly take any suggestions about how to reset it.

Hi TDeramus, in the notebook goto the “File” Tab and then select “Reset to original”. This will delete all editing by you and you can start fresh with original notebook.

Thanks, that was the first thing I tried but it just appears to get hung up and loads forever when I do so.

Hmmm, maybe you first shutdown the kernel under Tab “Kernel”, then reset to original and then Restart the kernel?

We excluded wrapups from getting reset because we didn’t want to lose learner’s drafts.

For erasing all cells you can click outside of the document then Ctrl+A then click twice on D
