Scoring strategy

Dear all,
I have a suggestion: would it be possible to indicate which is the scoring strategy to be used in cross validate? I was using the one in the notebook (scoring=“neg_mean_absolute_error”) and I was getting an error. I have tried with the default one and it worked. Checking afterwords the solution I have seen I did the right thing.

Thanks for your suggestion! I would say that in general unless explicitly stated, the default value should be used, but maybe we have not used this 100% consistently.

In this particular case, it does make sense that you were getting an error, since you were using a regression scoring function neg_mean_absolute_error for a classification problem.
