Firstly, thank you very much for giving me the opportunity to participate in this amazing training.
I really enjoy it, I am an independent consultant on IT maybe differently to the majority that are Scientists, PhD, or related to math, I read several comments about it. I am on another side, the IT background, I know Python, but here we understand the need to have the best of both worlds and that was challenging.
I found this training well structured, the use of notebooks for me works perfectly. The videos with concepts were appropriate, reading other comments, I agree that maybe a little bit more of short concept videos will be useful just to confirm before got into details and the exercises confirm the theory for each area, some exercises were hard for me, but interesting because you need to do some research in how you can solve some problems.
Maybe something useful could be to have a diagram with those best practices (ie: Data Source → Transformation (numerical and categorical features) → Select Model → Fit → Predict → Plotting)… Of course the diagram will be changing when you add cross validation.
For sure, I will be indaging more in pandas, numpy, matplotlib, seaborn, etc.
Congrats to all the team involved, the knowledge, quality, fluid and best practices let me understand part of this amazing world of AI / ML.
For much my expectative were fulfilled and anxious about what more comes in!!!
Thanks again for this great opportunity.
Best Regards
Douglas
