Special certificate

Hi,

I am a PhD student in France, and my doctoral school asked me whether I could get their certificate form filled to validate the course as training (In part because the standard fun-mooc certificates they have seen so far did not specify the number of hours).
Is there someone I could contact with such a request?

Thank you very much for the course!

@MarieCollin Do you think that the learning lab could fill up such a form which I assume is requested by the doctoral school?

Hi @glemaitre58 @MThees

Inria Learning Lab is not used to fill up such form and it’s difficult to answer without seeing the information to be given.
I think it would be much easier for us to provide a general “official” Inria Learning Lab document about the course with the requested information such as duration, dates, title, authors and syllabus of the course that could be downloadable for all the students.
You could then provide the FUN certificate and the course official document to your university.

Would this solution be Ok for you ?

Good question, I asked my employer to be able to partially follow this training during my working time thanks to the CPA. So I would be very interested in being able to justify the 36 hours that I announced.

thank you

merci

Hello, i’m also a PhD student in France.
First i’d like to thank you for this great MOOC, it’s one of the best if not the best ressource available on machine learning with Python, and it has helped me a lot.
I’m interested by the course document you mentionned @MarieCollin , with the syllabus, the hours and the autors, how to get it ?

Thanks you in advance

Hello, I am a PhD student in France. I am interested by the course document you mentioned @MarieCollin which includes information such as duration (number of hours), dates, title, authors and syllabus of the course.
How can I get it?

Thank you very much for the course!

I think if you justify the number of hours, exercises, etc, they will be quite convinced. There is no need of any special certificate! (In 2015, I was able to convince the ecole doctorale at Univ of Rennes1 to accept a certificate from coursera)

Hi @MarieCollin
such an official document would be excellent, I checked with the ED, the main points are the duration in hours, name of the participant, and a responsible for the course. If there is also a small syllabus, they would be even more happy!

Also, now that I have finished the course over the weekend, let me chime in with the praises: this has been an excellent course, thanks to the entire team for it!
