The notebook mentions randomized search alleviate regularity in grid search, but I don’t quite understand what that mean. Could someone clarify this term? Thank you.

In this case the word regularity refers to the intrinsically predictable structure of a grid, as the spacing in the grid follows a regular pattern provided by the user’s choice, and that may not necessarily coincide with the optimal points.
