FAQ

General issues
How many hours per week do I need to follow the Mooc?

Everyone has his or her own rhythm and involvement!
If you limit yourself to viewing the videos and conducting quizzes, three à four hours a week is enough.

I want to follow the MOOC without a connection because I want to have access to the contents in the train, the countryside, etc... How do I do it?

All videos and the Manual are downloadable.
You will find the links for downloading videos under each of them. To start the download, place your mouse over the link, right-click on it, then select the option "Save target as" and choose the destination folder. Also, depending on your connection, you can choose the quality of the video you record.

In which language can I take the course?

The Mooc is available in English and French. The videos are subtitled in both languages.

Do I have to follow the Mooc day by day? Will I still be able to access the course content when it is finished?

You can follow the courses whenever you want and you will be able to continue to access all the content even when the Mooc is finished. After the Mooc closes, there will just be no more forum, nor your quizzes.
So, if you run out of time one week, there is nothing to prevent you from following it the next week for example.

What is the course schedule?

The Mooc begin on February 23 2018. Its ends on April 2 2018. Find the Mooc calendar in the tab « Key dates ».

I noticed a mistake in courses. Where can I share it?

You can report bugs and errors found in the course via the forum... We want to set up a ‘constant improvement plan’... Thank you in advance.

Evaluation Questions
How is the evaluation in MOOC conducted?

We offer one quiz per course (in continuous monitoring) and one end of session quiz (weekend). For each question, you have the right to only one attempt.
To obtain the "follow-up certificate with success", you must answer all quizzes before April 2 at 11:00 UTC and get 50% correct answers.
This Mooc also delivers a paid certification (60€), which can be used in your CVs. For more information on certification, you have a dedicated space « Certification ».

Are quizzes mandatory?

No. Some quizzes are part of the Reverse Pedagogy whose program is online.
And yes, the evaluation questionnaires count towards obtaining the Mooc follow-up certificate. They are mandatory if you wish to obtain it.

Exchange Questions
I have a question. How do I submit it?

If your question is about mooc, you can ask it on the forum (in the right section).
The forum is accessible from the “Discussion” Tab.
If this is a technical question related to the FUN platform you can write to contact@france-universite-numerique-mooc.fr

How to ask a question or answer on the forums?

First of all, for the good organization of the forum, make sure before creating a new topic that it does not already exist.
If it exists, you can, for example, answer it or put it forward by clicking on the small + at the top right.
When you create a new "message", choose the subheading corresponding to your message from the drop-down list on the left. A member of the teaching team or another learner will be able to answer you.
