Video subtitles
English is the common instruction language. We provide to you English subtitles and English video transcripts for each chapter.
To enable the subtitles, please play the video, and click the speech bubble button in the video player’s bottom right. In the list of languages, choose “English” or “subtitles off” if you wish to turn off the captions.

Video download for offline viewing
You can also download every video in this MOOC to watch them when you do not have any internet connection. To download videos, you have to click either one of the four links below the video player. play button of each video and then will see the download button at the bottom of the video playing screen.

Once the video is open in a new tab, you can download it by using a right click and then "Save Video As..."
Subtitles for offline viewing are provided under the videos.
Furthermore, we really encourage active communication between participants. You can interact with instructors and learners in two ways in the MOOC:

Quizzes and activities
Certain types of learning exercises follow each video: a quiz and an activity with peer-to-peer interaction. You will find the activities, which are mostly discussion related, under the ‘Activities & Discussions’ sub-section of each chapter.
By clicking the “New Post” button in the lower right of the activity page, you will be directed to post a new comment.

Please proceed as follows:
Step 1: Create a new "Discussion". Then, create the title of your post and enter your comment. Please contribute to the topic at hand in a relevant way!
Step 2: Check the "follow this post" box to receive updates on your comment, or remove the check to stop receiving notifications.
Step 3: Once your comment is ready, you can click on "Add Post" to publish it. Otherwise, click on "Cancel" if you want to scrap your draft.

Ask new question (forum)
For questions related to the various topics or the MOOC in general, please use the designated forums. Click on "Discussion" in the upper part of your screen to reach the Discussion Home. You can proceed as shown above by either posting a question or a comment.

To see the various forums, click on the arrow pointing down next to "All Discussions" to see the sub-forums.

1: You can choose to follow specific posts by clicking on the symbol highlighted below when you read them. (if it becomes blue, it means you’re now following it)
2: The section(s) containing all self-introductions.
3: This forum section refers to the answers to the activities proposed to learners. There will be a sub-forum for each week.
To post a question or a discussion in a sub-forum, you can proceed as shown in “5. Quizzes and Activities”.

I have finished the course, will I receive a certificate?
You will be rewarded with a free course completion certificate if you have achieved a score of 80% or higher in the quizzes. Once the certificates are created you will find yours in your dashboard (https://www.fun-mooc.fr/dashboard) under the course's image. Click on "Download None (PDF) / Télécharger votre attestation PDF" to download it.

Why do I see two different scores on "Progress" and on "My Courses"? Will I receive my certificate?
Regarding your final score: as long as your score shown in the "Progress" page is 80% or higher, you will receive your certificate! The platform updates your score on the "My Courses" page every time certificates are created. Even if the break period for the certificate creation is over, that score won't change until the next time we ask FUN MOOC administrators to issue your certification.
Certificates will be issued every two months from June to December.
